Every test we ran against Google Trends with HER settings unless noted: region Tucson (Sierra Vista) AZ (geo
US-AZ-789), property Image Search, exact phrase in quotes, window 2025-01-01 to 2025-09-09. Queries were sent
through Trends' own data feed from inside trends.google.com (the same request the Explore page makes), paced ~2.5 s
apart. "Spiked" = any day with a value > 0 in the window. The data Google returned, and the capture time, are shown beside each screenshot below.
Important about every number below: Trends redraws its sample. The same query run later can give different
dates or no data. All results are what Google returned at the time stated.
Plain English: about 1 in 3 made-up or rare phrases shows a blip somewhere; about 2 in 3 show nothing.
Invented names land on her exact days ours

Test 5 vs test 6 (identical 119 queries, ~2 h apart): of 42 phrases that spiked in run 1, 24 showed no data in run
2, 17 spiked on different days, 1 was unchanged; 29 phrases that showed nothing in run 1 spiked in run 2.
Examples: "ISRTF-PLTR Albert Einstein" Sep 8 -> May 27 + Aug 23; "Napoleon Bonaparte Winnie the Pooh Fort Huachuca"
Sep 2 + Sep 6 -> no data; "Joan of Arc OUSDI&S" Aug 23 -> Jan 8. Graphic: Danks_Escobar_Video/gfx_drift.png.
Same day, other loads: her own control "Brad Hansell OUSDI&S" (she showed Sep 8) returned Aug 17 three times in a row,
and "Bradley Hansell OUSDI&S" returned no data.
Note: the same 8 queries repeated 2-3 times within a few minutes returned IDENTICAL answers - the sample is stable for a
while, then redrawn. (Observed, not documented by Google.)

Geography ours
Arizona offers exactly three Trends regions (Phoenix, Tucson (Sierra Vista), Yuma-El Centro). Her own route string,
re-pulled, gave a different date than her slide, and "Interest by city" returned "not enough data".

Her method, applied to made-up names ours
Pick the 3 busiest days (what she did with real names) and you get a "meeting":
May 15 2025: Abraham Lincoln, Benedict Arnold, Captain Kidd, Captain Kirk, SpongeBob SquarePants (x2 formats), Thomas Edison
Aug 4 2025: Albert Einstein + Shrek, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Gutenberg, Beethoven (x2), Marie Antoinette, Napoleon
Sep 6 2025 (her Erika Kirk day): Buffalo Bill, Captain Crunch, Ronald McDonald, Stewie Griffin, Albert Einstein, Alexander the Great, Napoleon + Winnie the Pooh
- May 15 2025 is the day the Army documents two real generals at Fort Huachuca (Eifler G-1 + Hale G-2, DVIDS).
Their 23 name/title variants: 0 blips that day (04_OUR_TESTS B). SpongeBob, Captain Kirk and Abraham Lincoln: blips
that day. Her method misses the real visitors and "finds" the cartoons on the real visit day.
- Sep 6 (her Erika day) ties for the busiest day in our entire fake-name dataset (7 fake names).

Limits of these tests
~1,000 queries in one night triggered Google's rate limit (HTTP 429). Go slow next time: one job at a time, 8 s+.
"Spiked" counts any non-zero day; most spikes are a single day at 100 (the chart's own maximum).
We cannot see whether a real person ever searched any of these phrases - nobody can. That is the point: neither can she.
