All content on this Site is published for educational and informational purposes only. AFNPT provides analysis and commentary on publicly available nonprofit records, including IRS Form 990 filings, DOJ FARA registrations, and state corporate filings. Our analyses represent our educational interpretation of public records and do not constitute legal advice, financial advice, tax guidance, or accusations of criminal wrongdoing. All individuals and entities discussed are presumed to have acted lawfully unless determined otherwise by competent legal authority.
2. Intellectual Property
All original content on this Site, including text, analyses, data visualizations, graphics, and software, is the property of Americans For Non-Profit Transparency and is protected by U.S. copyright law. © 2026 Americans For Non-Profit Transparency. AFNPT's original investigative content is available for republication under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) with the following conditions: (a) attribution to "Americans For Non-Profit Transparency (AFNPT)" with a link to the original article; (b) no commercial use; (c) no modifications to the content; (d) no SEO farming, content spinning, or wholesale scraping. 6. User Conduct

The Site contains links to third-party websites, including government databases (IRS, DOJ FARA, state SOS offices), news organizations, and our payment processor (Stripe). AFNPT is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of external sites. Links do not constitute endorsement.

AFNPT respects the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe your copyrighted work has been reproduced on our Site in a manner that constitutes infringement, please send a DMCA takedown notice to legal@afnpt.org with: (a) identification of the copyrighted work; (b) identification of the infringing material and its location on the Site; (c) your contact information; (d) a statement of good faith belief that the use is not authorized; (e) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner; (f) your physical or electronic signature.

AFNPT reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AFNPT, its directors, officers, employees, and volunteers from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use of or reliance on the Site or any content herein; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your republication of our content in a manner inconsistent with our Republication Guidelines; or (d) any claim that your use of our content caused damage to a third party. This indemnification obligation survives termination of these Terms and your use of the Site.
11. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the State of California. AFNPT's publications are protected by the California Anti-SLAPP statute (CCP §425.16), which provides for mandatory fee-shifting against frivolous lawsuits targeting speech on matters of public concern.
